Dr. Simmons is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nationally Certified and Licensed Forensic Nurse Examiner that has participated in evidence- based organizational management, forensic science and asthma education in community health initiatives.  Because of her current clinical excellence and community services in health education, behavioral health nursing  pediatric care, young adult care and geriatric care she is capable of educating, medicating, and managing communities across all disciplines.  

Dr. Simmons has extensive experience caring for children, youth and adults while volunteering and working in New Jersey, as a Registered Professional Nurse.

Dr. Simmons is an internationally recognized Honor society recipient for Sigma Theta Tau Chapter Gamma Nu and The National Society of Leadership and Success. Dr. Simmons primary focus is community mental health services and improving the wellbeing of people across all populations. She continues to practice as a Nurse Innovator, Clinical Mental Health Expert, and Forensic Nurse Examiner in the Community in which she lives, thrives, and practice.
